While Meals on Wheels delivers meals to indigent and homeless in Henderson County, they are only able to do so on Monday through Friday. Enter, The Rebecca Project.

 

Founded in 2010 by Men Unleashed and included in their non-profit designation, these dedicated volunteers fill in the gap and making hot meals for deliveries to the elderly, poor, and homeless on Saturdays and Sundays.

Volunteers meet and prepare meals in the kitchen of First Presbyterian Church in Athens every Saturday.

Men Unleashed and The Rebecca Project are ecumenical projects welcoming participation by all faiths.
