APEF was formed to bring innovative learning opportunities to the students of AISD at all grade levels, and to serve as a way for former students to stay in touch with Athens and each other.

The Athens Public Education Foundation's mission is to provide opportunities for excellence in education, promote innovation in teaching, & partner with the community to enhance the quality of education for all AISD students.
