The mission of Men Unleashed is to bring men from all walks of life together in order to model and support a brotherhood of positive inspirational leaders, through discipleship within our homes and spreading throughout our communities.

This non-denominational organization brings together volunteers of all faiths, races, and backgrounds to bring a message of hope and faith directly to the people of Athens by hosting events such as Church in the Streets.

In recent years, Men Unleashed created The Rebecca Project to help ensure that the elderly, poor, and homeless in Athens have hot meals each weekend.

​

Men Unleashed meets every Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. at 404 Martin Luther King Blvd. in Athens for Bible Study and bonding. Every fourth Saturday of the month, the group takes to the streets with Church in the Streets adjacent to the Shell service station on Hwy. 19 North.

​

Plans are to expand the ministry to include community services such as: litter collection, mowing yards for the elderly, and mentoring young people.
